As the Eucharistic Lord made his way through Northern Colorado as part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, thousands joined in prayer, witness and reflection at the various parishes and ministries that hosted events.
The Junípero Serra route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage passed through the Archdiocese of Denver from June 5 to 12, visiting St. Ignatius Church in Rangely, Holy Name Parish in Steamboat Springs, St. Joan of Arc Parish in Arvada, Light of the World Parish in Littleton, Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church in Denver, the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, Holy Ghost Parish in Denver, Sacred Heart Parish in Roggen, St. Helena Parish in Fort Morgan and St. Anthony Parish in Sterling.
Among the many parish hosts were local ministries and organizations that welcomed the Eucharistic Lord, like the Annunciation Heights, Camp St. Malo, Christ in the City, the Mother Cabrini Shrine and the Augustine Institute.

The graduate school dedicated to forming disciples and apostles for the New Evangelization welcomed the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage to their Greenwood Village location for an afternoon of prayer and community.
Dozens of faithful gathered for a time of prayer, followed by a procession around the neighborhood and a talk given by Dr. Ben Akers, chief content officer at the Augustine Institute.
“It was a joy to see the Augustine Institute filled to the brim with pilgrims,” said Mary McGeehan, senior project manager at the Augustine Institute. “A rainstorm started as everyone arrived. Jesus stopped the rain just in time for the outdoor procession to proceed! It was an honor to walk with Jesus outdoors and intentionally invite his presence throughout the streets of the Denver Tech Center.”
