Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila blessed the new Marisol Health Northern Colorado clinic inside and out during its grand opening Sunday.
“Life is a divine gift, and safeguarding it is our sacred responsibility,” Archbishop Aquila said to attendees. His words resonated deeply with the crowd gathered, particularly in light of the prevalent acceptance of abortion and pro-choice beliefs in our state.
As the ribbon was cut to mark the clinic’s grand opening, dozens of community members were welcomed with excitement. Inside, the clinic’s dedicated staff led tours and shared details about the wide range of services available, including gynecological care, professional counseling and more.

Since its inception in Denver in 2016, Marisol Health has provided holistic care to women in need. Now, with the opening of Marisol Health in Fort Collins across the street from a Planned Parenthood facility, that mission shines even further, extending its reach to expecting mothers near Colorado State University and the Northern Colorado community. With committed and expert professionals such as medical director Dr. Kevin Tool and certified nurse midwife Lisa Gesterling, the clinic has already impacted the lives of women and families throughout Northern Colorado, offering exceptional medical care.
