Archbishop Aquila celebrates Graduation Mass at John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C.

The John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies invited Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila to celebrate Mass at the institute’s 35th graduation in Washington, D.C., earlier this month.

The May 7th ceremony celebrated 16 graduates from four theological programs: Master of Theological Studies, PhD in Theology, Licentiate in Sacred Theology, and Doctorate in Sacred Theology. It was held at the Redemptor Hominis Chapel of the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.

Faculty members, families, and supporters attended the event, reflecting the institute’s commitment to rigorous theological education and current culture. The graduation Mass underscored the intersection of faith and scholarship, echoing Saint John Paull II’s vision for a deeply engaged Church.
